What is Raw Hair?

Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair sourced from a single donor. All cuticles are intact and aligned in one direction to minimize tangling and maintain quality. Raw hair naturally comes in three textures: Straight, Wavy, and Curly. Because the hair is in its most natural state, each bundle is unique — meaning no two bundles are exactly alike. Slight variations are normal and will still blend beautifully.

Is the Hair 100% Human Hair?

Yes. Desired Hair Closet only offers premium raw human hair with no synthetic fibers or chemical processing.

How many bundles do I need?

We typically recommend 3 bundles for a full install. For longer lengths (24–30 inches), 4 bundles are ideal for a fuller look.

Can I color my hair?

Yes! Our raw hair can be dyed and bleached, including lifting to color 613. Please note that achieving 613 usually requires multiple professional bleaching sessions to maintain the integrity of the hair. 

How long will my hair last?

There is no expiration date on our raw hair. With proper care, raw hair can last up to 3-5 years. You determine how long your hair will last by the way you care for your hair. Keep in mind that excessive heat and coloring will minimize the natural state of the hair. Treat your bundles as you would your natural hair. 

Does the Hair Shed or Tangle?

Minimal shedding is normal with any extensions. Proper installation, gentle detangling, and correct maintenance will help keep your bundles smooth and long-lasting.

Can I Use Heat on the Hair?

Yes! Our raw hair can be straightened, curled, and styled with heat. Always use a heat protectant to preserve the hair’s natural quality.

Can I Reuse My Bundles?

Yes! Raw hair is designed for multiple installs when properly maintained and stored.

How long will shipping take?

Shipping typically takes 1–4 business days after processing, excluding delays caused by holidays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Do You Offer Local Pickup?

Yes! Please bring your order confirmation and valid ID at the time of pickup.

Can I return or exchange my hair?

Every bundle is carefully sourced, quality inspected, and packaged. Due to the hygienic nature of raw hair products, all sales are final. To inquire about a possible exchange of unworn or altered hair email desiredhaircloset@gmail.com
